When time was an abundant resource, prickly pears were harvested, peeled, and sieved to remove the seeds. The pulp, clean and juicy, was concentrated until it was reduced to a third of its weight.
Now, that time is precious and life hectic, we do all this and offer you this mustard, made as it was then.
We follow an ancient recipe from Militello Val di Catania,adding cinnamon, fennel seeds and a pinch of chocolate that gives it a unique, intense flavor. Silky on the tongue, sweetwithout excess, with the aroma of the chocolate revealing the underlyingfruit and spicynotes .A comfort food in its own right; to pamper oneself, when eaten by the spoonful,or to give a boost to cheeses and gustatory weight to desserts. The combination with blue cheeseis amazing, opening new horizons of pleasure .

Sweet prickly pear preparation
Ingredients: prickly pears (80%), cane sugar, lemon juice, cocoa mass, spices. Gelling agent: fruit pectin.
