For this preparation, we decided to use as a base another zagare honey, the rounder and more complex one produced in the famous Sicilian orange groves. Then we added cinnamon, which in Sicilian desserts is a frequent ingredient that, in any preparation, takes the reins to rule as monarch.
In our interpretation, however, it gives way to star anise .He is in charge and uses the honey as a springboard, to plunge the taste buds into a sea of freshness. Important taste impact. Medium to long aged cheeses find themselves engaged in a continuous cession of dominance over the palate, a mock struggle from which pleasure is born. A very interesting juxtaposition is with white meats and pork, to which sweetness and freshness lend a dynamism that enhances the taste in creative and unorthodox ways.
